Purpose of this website

To provide high level online information for the general public who are seeking information about the Victorian judicial system and are not familiar with the various Courts and jurisdictions.

To provide simple pathways for discovering cross-jurisdictional information such as Juries, court transcript and video conferencing.

What is on this website?
It has a summary of the jurisdictions of the Victorian and Federal Courts and links to the web sites of the different courts and courts in other states.
In addition, links are provided to other common information such as Courts Lists or information about Jury service.

How the content is arranged
Content is arranged so that users can find the information on this website in any one of three ways:
  1. Search for a Key Word using the search box on the home page or
  2. Navigation Topics: select one of the items in the list of navigation levels on the left side of the screen throughout the site.
  3. News: current issues are under C&T news on the homepage and previous headlines will be posted in the Resources section of the site.
